Mike Ford - President

Mike Ford has been in leadership positions with Kelly Cable for nearly 30 years.

He began his Kelly career in Rochester, NY in 1987 working in the cable television industry. He transferred to Kelly in Denver, CO and then in 1989 to Albuquerque, NM to manage the small Kelly operation there. Mike soon identified opportunities to diversify the Albuquerque operations and began completing telephone, low voltage, gas and power work.

In early 2000, Mike transferred to new Kelly offices being established in Chicago, IL where Kelly became the first contractor to provide locate services for both the power and gas companies. Following his success in those operations, Mike returned to Albuquerque. Since his return, Mike has continued to develop existing relationships, build new ones and diversify the Kelly service offerings.

Djoko Boentaran - CFO

Djoko has been with Kelly Cable since 2014. He currently manages all accounting and IT operations for the company.

Prior to coming to Kelly, Djoko was with Reese Henry & Company in Aspen, CO where he was the IT Director and Audit Manager. There he assisted clients with audits and transaction services. He worked with a variety of industries including construction contractors, real estate developers, hospitality and privately held entities. From 1996 – 2000 he worked as a Firm Network Administrator and IT/Financial Auditor on various state and local government, non-profit and privately held entities for Wall, Smith, Bateman Certified Public Accountants in Alamosa, CO.

Djoko holds a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems.

Mark Baronak - Fleet Manager

Mark has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 27 years.

Mark first began his Kelly career as a drop bury tech in 1990, he went on to manage CATV Installation operations and later pioneered our directional boring business. Following that, Mark worked for over 10 years as a telecom and fiber engineer for both CenturyLink and TW Telecom. Mark rejoined the Kelly team in April of 2015 as our fleet manager. His extensive knowledge of the company’s fleet, equipment and operations benefit the Kelly team on a daily basis. Mark is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Donna Robinson - Safety, Quality & Training Manager

Donna has been in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years.

Her career began in the CATV business with Albuquerque Cable TV/Jones Intercable in 1985. She joined Kelly in 1994 as the office manager and later managed installation and bury operations. She served as the Regional Manager for CableExpress before transitioning into the telephone industry in 2007. Donna worked in engineering for Qwest/CenturyLink for several years before returning to Kelly in 2014 as the Safety Manager.

Donna is a graduate of the University of New Mexico – Go Lobos!

David Sanchez - Power Division Manager

David Sanchez has over 18 years of experience in estimating, contract negotiation, client support, workforce procurement, pre- engineering activities, mobilization of resources and quality and safety controls. 

David came to Kelly in 2012 in an administrative role he viewed as a “foot in the door with a great company.” Once here, he quickly got to work creating new opportunities for himself. He is extremely well-versed in forecasting and projections for completion and deadlines. He currently manages all Public Service Company of New Mexico projects for Kelly throughout the state.

Prior to that, he managed the extensive Zayo fiber optics build in Albuquerque, NM. Prior to coming to Kelly, David had served in project management roles for a variety of companies. He has diverse project experience including specialty training simulators for both the Navy and Army, hotel reconstruction, public works projects and school remodels. In 2001-2003 he served as a project manager and senior construction inspector for Millennium Utility Consultants in Salt Lake City, UT and St. Louis, MO where he was responsible for several multi-million dollar telecommunications projects from beginning to completion.

From 1999-2001, David was an as-built and engineering coordinator for Williams Communications in New York City, NY and Boston, MA. David also holds a General Contractor’s License (GB98) in the state of New Mexico.

Chris Nehrenz - Procurement Manager

Chris joined Kelly Cable in 2013 as our Procurement Manager.

He came aboard with the monumental task of transitioning our operation from client provided materials to Kelly purchased materials. He established all of the purchasing, warehousing, distribution, tracking and inventory processes for the CenturyLink support materials used by Kelly throughout the state. He is responsible for all forecasting of material use. He manages all logistics of procurement from nationwide vendors and utilization by our six offices in New Mexico. He continues to streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Prior to coming to Kelly, Chris was with Qwest Communications in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 2000 - 2013. He worked as a network technician and later as a supply attendant. Chris holds a number of certifications in communications, fiber optics, fire and access controls and electronics.
