DIRECTIONAL BORING AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

Over 100 years.  That is how much combined experience you get from Kelly's directional boring management and operators.  Just as important, our Drill Operators have transformed their experience into a "feel" for their profession; because if you are going to be a successful directional drilling company it is important that you can combine artistry with the latest science and technology.

We use the right machine for the job.  We have a complete fleet of directional drills, from small to large.

The latest technology allows us to drill to grade and is good to have on the job if you want your sewer line to flow in the right direction.

Our state of the art bore planner gives us the ability to preplan our bore path to adapt to changes in elevation, obstructions, and utilities.  This technology allows us to produce a complete print-out of our pre-planned bore path and our actual bore profile.  All of this helps ensure a safe, successful bore, and an accurate as-built.

Kelly has a successful track record of completing any type of directional bore project you have. Examples of projects we have completed include:

Power
Pipeline
Water
Sewer
Gas
Communications
If you are thinking trenchless is the way to go on your project, call us.  We will look at your job and help develop a plan and budget that will be successful and accurate.

PIPE BURSTING SERVICES

ONE TRILLION DOLLARS!  That's the estimated cost of replacing old, damaged, leaking, undersized, encrused and corroded utility pipe in the next 20 years.

Most of these water and sewer pipelines are located in high density, urban areas.  They cross paved streets and railroads.  They are located under buildings, parking lots and landscaping.  It is likely that the location of these pipelines make traditional open trench methods the most costly method of replacement.

The advantages of Pipe Bursting include:

You have a new pipeline and it can be upsized if needed.  It is not repaired or refinished.
Your new pipeline follows the existing pipeline.  No new ROW or engineering design is needed.
You reduce the exposure to damaging other facilities that would be in the dig path of an open excavation.
It is citizen and municipality friendly.  Fewer and smaller lane closures and traffic disruptions.
Reduces excavation and restoration costs.
Kelly's Pipe Bursting services provides an effective and efficient alternative to traditional open trench installation.

If you are thinking trenchless technology and Pipe Bursting is the way to go on your project, call us.  We will look at your job and help you develop a plan and budget that will be successful and accurate.

UNDERGROUND DISTRIBUTION AND MAINLINE CONSTRUCTION

Kelly understands that while digging one foot of trench may look just like another, every facility owner has very important and unique construction standards for the installation of their facility. That is why our customers realize the benefit of our years of experience and attention to detail.

We take the time and invest in the training, tools and equipment to ensure our construction crews have the expected skills for each type of facility and then we combine it with the unique knowledge and ability each owner wants for the construction of their individual facility.

Kelly is a turn-key provider of front and rear lot residential underground direct buried and in-conduit systems for:

  • Electric Distribution
  • PE Gas Main Distribution
  • Telecommunication Copper Line, Twisted Pair and Fiber
  • Cable TV Coax and Fiber
  • Fixed Equipment (switch cabinets, transformers, manholes, pedestals, street lights, meters, network interface boxes, etc.)
  • Terminations, splicing, fusions, and pre-provisioning

We install each of these facilities on a stand alone basis, or jointly in every combination imaginable. Our joint installation projects are successful because we take the approach that each facility is important and critical to that residential development.

We make time upfront to coordinate the trench designs and the pedestal locations to create an efficient construction process. We communicate and coordinate the underground construction schedule with the housing developer’s need dates and building schedule.

Kelly knows our success depends on our ability to meet our customer’s requirements and at the same time satisfy the housing developer and their needs.
